Statement by Mayor Passero on the death of Kevin Ryan
I am profoundly saddened by the loss of Kevin Ryan, a dedicated public servant and Connecticut State Representative. For many years, Kevin represented Eastern Connecticut with unwavering compassion, integrity, and a passionate commitment to his constituents. Although New London was not in his district, he was a steadfast supporter of New London in the General Assembly and he was a fixture at New London cultural events. His remarkable leadership was marked by a genuine willingness to tackle problems with kindness, empathy, and grace. Kevin's legacy of service will continue to inspire those who care about our communities.
