The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is now accepting applications for Entrepreneur Academy 2026, a zero cost, nine-week business development program designed to help aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs launch and grow successful businesses. Whether you're looking to start a new business or expand an existing one, Entrepreneur Academy provides practical instruction, expert guidance, and valuable connections to help you succeed.
Participants will learn directly from experienced business professionals through hands-on sessions covering:
- Business planning and idea validation
- Business structures and legal fundamentals
- Finance, accounting, and budgeting
- Branding, marketing, and customer development
- Sales strategy and customer acquisition
- Access to capital and funding resources
- AI tools and strategies for small businesses
- Pitch development and storytelling
Since its launch, Entrepreneur Academy has:
- Received nearly 200 applications from aspiring entrepreneurs across Eastern Connecticut
- Supported more than 100 entrepreneurs in developing and growing their businesses
- Seen more than half of recent graduates go on to launch or operate their own businesses
The program concludes with Final Pitch Night, where participants present their ventures before local business leaders and compete for a share of a prize pool valued at more than $14,000, including cash awards and business growth resources.
