New London Residents,
Do you want a free native tree for your yard? New London Trees is giving away trees this fall -- reserve your tree now at www.newlondontrees.org. Young healthy trees will be in 3 to 7 gallon containers and approximately 6 feet tall. You will be responsible for planting the tree.
Pick up your tree and join us in celebrating New London Trees on Saturday, October 10 from 10am to 2pm at Williams Park (corner of Williams and Broad Streets). There will be a tree planting demonstration, family activities and snacks.
Trees provided by The Nature Conservancy. Grant funding provided by the USDA, Forest Service Forestry Equity Grants administered by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and supported by the Inflation Reduction Act.
