The Housing Authority of The City of New London is a public entity that was formed in 1951 to provide federally subsidized housing and state financed housing and housing assistance to low-income families, within the City of New London.
As Commissioners and Staff of the New London Housing Authority, we are committed to providing Quality Housing through innovation and partnerships with the Community. We strive for excellence in creating a supportive environment of mutual pride and respect that inspires all to improve their quality of life. The Housing Authority is headed by an Executive Director, is governed by a five-person Board of Commissioners and is subject to the requirements of Title 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations, The DOH and CHFA state housing program regulations and the Housing Authority’s Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy. Though brought into existence by a Resolution of the City of New London, it is a separate quasi-governmental entity from the City of New London.
