How To Obtain Accident Reports
The New London Police Department utilizes Crashdocs.org for dissemination of accident reports that are produced by our agency. We do no disseminate, nor have access to, accident reports produced by other agencies. The New London Police Department diligently works to complete accident reports in a timely manner. Based on the processes required for each accident report, it can sometimes take up to 14 to 21 days from the time of the accident to be able to retrieve the report. It should also be noted that open accident investigations are not available for dissemination.

When searching for your accident report it is important to use the following format: 2-digit year followed by 4-digit report number with no spaces or characters in between. For Example accident 1234, which occurred in 2021 would be searched for in the following format: 211234 It is also important to know that other required information includes: 1) The last name of at least one involved party 2) The date of the accident See the image below for reference.
